Ron Isley CD Giveaway
Ronald Isley’s latest album, This Song Is for You, has debuted at number 27 on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the highest-charting release of his solo career.
The singer's disc, which includes duets with Trey Songz and Kem, outperformed 2010's Mr. I, which entered the chart at number 50, and his collaborative effort with Burt Bacharach, Here I Am, which opened in the number 73 slot in 2003.
The legendary crooner and lead singer of the Isley Brothers, whose career spans five decades, is excited to hit the road to support his newest offering.
Ron recently tweeted about touring with Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and Kem, beginning this Friday, July 26 in Detroit. He wrote, "I hope to see all my friends and fans there!" The summer outing will run through various U.S. cities before wrapping up at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta on September 1.
Elsewhere on the Billboard 200 chart, Ciara's self-titled album sits a few slots above Isley's, at number 20. The disc, led by her hit single "Body Party," debuted last week at number two.
